Name: Archer
Age: 3 and a half years old
Gender: Male
Species: Common-or-garden grey wolf
Pack: Yerizhan
Rank: Delta Male, please? If that is not available I'm happy to have him placed as a Zeta or a fighter.
Crush: Astra
Mate: None
Personality: You may be looking for a dark, angsty male, with a dark past, a forbidden romance and, of course, the stereotypical black fur and menacing red eyes. You could, alternatively, be looking for a strong but cruel leader, whom is the type to stand on cliff-tops dramatically and howl to the pack in a way that can be heard for miles around, whom has a storm-grey pelt and a that heroic, romantic build bulging with muscles......
Or you could be looking at Archer, who does not fit in either category. In fact, he has one entirely to himself.
Archer is a wolf who lives in the here and now; he’s a risktaker, and has a very outgoing personality. He’s friendly, a tad blunt and isn’t afraid to get his paws dirty to get the job done. To him, the “rules” aren’t “rules”; they’re purely “guidelines”, something to respect most of the time but if they get in the way of doing a job – well, they go out of the window, simple as that, and he'll deal with the consequences later. Charistmatic and extroverted - with a talent to drag many a friend into some kind of adventure - Archer’s an impatient fellow, and usually makes decisions on the spot, making it up as he goes along (but sometimes telling people otherwise). This male does not have time for intellectual banter, or deep, emotional talks about the qualities of such and such herb – it isn’t that he isn’t clever enough to do so, it’s just that he doesn’t have the time, and instead puts the time towards hunting or training. Archer believes in logic, not intuition or “gut feelings", and will make this opinion clear: he can be outspoken at times.
All of these traits, you might think, would not be beneficial to having the rank that he has: however, he is more smart than he comes across at times (and sometimes actually comes across as more dumb than he is intentionally), and although he may act like a loose cannon, he is completely and entirely loyal to the pack and respects both those below and above him the pack hierarchy.
Now, all wolves have their bad points, and Archer has plenty of those. He can be very forgetful at times, and his lack of thinking before he acts can get him into trouble, especially with his outspokenness quality. He can also be blamed about his lack of seriousness at times, which, as you can imagine, can irritate more of the formal and more refined wolves at the pack. Indeed, he's only serious when the chips are extraordinarily high: any other time, he's quite the "cool cucumber", and is relatively laid back, which can irritate more highly-strung members (although this can be considered a boon - he is incredibly hard to worry, and is incredibly canny about most things). For his physical attributes, he has a weakened forepaw, which can be a hinderance in the hunting tasks.
However, Archer is a good male at heart, and always tries to do the best he can for the good of the pack.

History: Archer grew up in an ordinary pack, and, indeed, left the pack in an ordinary way: leaving, as was the custom, when he was a yeariing. At first, he was just a nomad: adventuring from place to place, seeing the sites, but never really having a place to call home. He didn't mind this particularly: he was always a free spirit, and he liked it that way.
Until he met Frost.
Frost was a wolf on the run, and he found her alongside her pup hiding in a ditch. Her pursuers were after her, but Archer managed to hide her away in a cave he had discovered nearby. At first, Frost was, quite rightly, wary of him - after all, he was a lone male, and she had her pup to provide for and protect. However, slowly but surely, they managed to become friends: to care for the pup together, and, slowly but surely, they fell in love. Frost was all for making a home and a pack there and then, and Archer agreed - at the time. But as time danced it's merry dance, he began to wonder, remembering the times where he used to roam, free as the wind. He loved Frost, of course he did, but he was young, and he began to pine for his freedom.
One day, Archer voiced his concerns to Frost, asking if she would like to accompany him on the road, or something similar. Unsurprisingly - for she had already set up a home in the cave - Frost was angry, and there was a bitter argument, where cruel words were said that should never have been uttered. Soon after this, Frost and her pup left, leaving Archer alone once more.
And, at this point, we find Archer.

Appearance: Archer is an agouti male, with a "patchwork" pelt - one composed of blacks, browns and greys. He is slightly larger than usual, and has no distinguishing markings or scars of any sort, apart from one old scar which is just behind his ears, which has partially faded with age. He has a weakened font left paw, which can sometimes prove a hinderance in hunting tasks and activities.
Other: I hope I'm accepted, and I'm happy to edit my form is this is incorrect in some way. If you want to know my post count, it's 400 upwards.
