Yes you may create species other than wolves here you find out how. Yes some of the limits may be high just they are meant to be rare so lowering them would ruin the whole idea of that. Note that the amount you may create doesn't include pups.
Other species are free to go wherever they wish but unless they can defend themselves they should stay away from the territories of the wolf packs. Equines tend to stay in the meadows in the yerizhan territory, the wolves will leave them alone if there are other prey animals such as deer to be found as they are easier to take down.
Dog/wolf hybrids
These are the most common species in AE after dogs and wolves. You can get a dog/wolf hybrid through breeding or by making one when you reach 25 posts. After 25 posts the amount of these you are allowed make is unlimited.
Other canines
Other canines such as foxes,jackals,hyenas and coyotes may be created after you reach 100 posts. You may make another every hundred posts e.g 100posts=1,200 posts= 2 ect. You are allowed a maximum of 3.
Equines
The most common non canine species in AE. You may create a horse when you reach 250 posts, you may create another for every 250 posts. You are allowed to create a total of 3. Ponies are less common than their larger relatives as they suffer frequent attacks from the canines. You may create a pony when you reach 300 posts and are allowed a maximum of 2. You get the second when you reach 600 posts. Other equines such as donkeys and zebras are unheard of in AE.

You may create a cat when you reach 400 posts. Once 500 posts have been reached you may create as many as you wish. The rules concerning larger felines such as mountain lions,snow leopards and lynx are different. When you reach 500 posts you may create one, a second at 900 posts.
Bears
These large predators are as rare as they are dangerous. They are extremely hard to find. You may create one when you reach 750 posts and only one.
Others
When you reach 1000 posts you may create an animal of a species of your choice. Please realistic species only(so sorry no unicorns). You may create a second species of your choice animal at 2500posts and the third and last at 5000 posts. Though I doubt anyone will reach that here xD
